I absolutely love Gerald Celente, he made me laugh out loud when Russia Today interviewed him about the State of The Union speech. I watched some of it and couldn't help but be taken aback by the out right theater it was! Gerald Celente said what i said during the speech, that it was all theater, he called it a pep rally! He says Obama was like a coach in the locker room when the team is losing, and he called Nancy Pelosi a cheerleader cuz she jumped up and down clapping for the Congress, like they're such great people and they've done so well.
And he said Joe Biden looked like a bobble head!! Ha, it's a funny interview!

Happy New Year

It's been a while since i have written on here and have actually talked about what's going on in my little world rather than what's going on in the country or the world. Needless to say as for the goings on in the world it's all rather horrifying, more unconstitutional rules from our loving Government making people go through naked body scanners now to fly. Well, i'm not going to get into all that, i could go on and on.

As for what i've been up to it's all pretty good. We moved out of our town home and Justin bought a house. Yes, we're homeowners now. I'm loving it. I lived in a house the majority of my life, just recently in the last 10 years i've been living in apartments and town homes. It's not fun, why people buy town homes or condos i dunno, i love having your own space and not being so close to people.

The kitchen is awesome so far, i'm slowly making it my own. So much more room and more cabinet space than our other kitchen. I love the marble counter tops, a bakers dream. I bought a veggie bin and a microwave cart to free up some counter space, we have these beautiful marble counters and you can't see em because of all the shit i have on them. I also just recently bought a new stove with the help of Justin's Dad's Xmas money he gave me. I spent more than i was expecting to pay at first but the more i searched on line for stoves, i fell in love with the double oven stoves, and i found a really good deal on a GE electric range with the double ovens. So that should be shipping soon, i'm really excited about it, my first stove that's all mine and have never been used by someone else! I'm also planning on buying a double bookshelf pot rack. My new stove doesn't have the bottom drawer to store your skillets and stuff, which is fine, i've been wanting to buy a pot rack for a long time anyway. Tonight me and Clarissa watched Julie & Julia, and i never really noticed before but in Julia Child's kitchen she had pots and pans hanging all over the walls in her kitchen.

I was looking at our backyard today and was picturing what i could do back there to make it more appealing to the eye. It's really neglected, there's hardly any grass and it's mostly just dirt and a big hill with just piles of wood at the top. Maybe i can plant a flower garden or something, give that shit a little Martha Stewart touch! In the mean time i'm not going back there though, it's still too muddy with all the snow we've had.

On the work front it was getting good and now it's starting to get bad again. I'm still working at the store across town, i know it sounds stupid when i can just transfer to another store closer to my house, but what's holding me back is the fear of where i will end up if i do transfer. I am scared to death i will be a cashier again, and i don't want that. But just in the last week i'm really changing my mind and i'm going to look into what these different stores have to offer me. Maybe i'll luck out and find something i like. I am getting shafted at work again and am getting stuck with 20 hour weeks again. For a while there they had me doing new stuff and were giving me 32 hours again, but now my boss has been screwing me over and giving all the extra hours to this other girl, and scheduling someone else to do the shit i've been doing to get extra hours, and it's really pissing me off! She knows i live across town now, she knows i have a mortgage now and she's fucking me over.

So this week on my days off i'm going to call different stores in my area and see if they need help at night. I'm really gonna try to push to get into the bakery if i can, or at least Starbucks or something different. Doing what i'm doing now, there simply just is not enough hours anymore.

Anyhow, for Xmas Justin gave me a Dell Mini! :-D Yeah i know, i totally wasn't expecting that! I'm blogging on it as i am typing now! I love it, i absolutely love it. I named it Liberty, because right now the Internet and the computer as a tool to log onto the Internet is the only bastion of freedom and liberty we still have left, even though the government tracks and watches everything you do on the Internet.

It's so weird owning my own computer though, i still feel like i'm sharing it with someone else.

I'm mostly babbling because i had to work last night and i slept most of today, i didn't get up till 3 o'clock so i'm not really sleepy right at the moment.

So new years resolutions this year? Not really, just to push myself to learn more about cooking and baking, not to drink and eat unhealthy. I've slipped lately and have had a soda more than once a week, i think this week i've drank like 4 or 5 cans of Pepsi. Which just one is really bad. Justin has gotten pretty bad about that too again, he's been buying 12 packs again.

I'm still mostly drinking my Xing Green Teas though, and the Albertsons by our house has all of the flavors, so i'm very, very excited about that! I use to have to hunt and hunt to get all the flavors, King Soopers only had the Green Tea, the Pomegranate and the Mango. Xing Green Teas are THE SHIT!! It's like heaven drinking one when i haven't had one in a while. Drinking soda now still grosses me out, i can just taste the high fructose corn syrup in em, and the sugar. Mostly when i do drink a soda now, it's a Dr. Pepper, for some reason i don't mind that so much.

Anyway, so i am gonna push myself to try more new recipes, cooking more. The week we moved we were living on a "fast food diet", and even the girls were complaining after a while. It was really awesome to hear my family say how much they missed my cooking though. Nothing warms my heart more than hearing them talk about how much they love something i cook :)

Well, ya know i couldn't leave a post on here without talking about Ron Paul. Well this time, it's not really about Ron Paul (by the way, they sent out their new Ron Paul Family cookbook which i got in the mail the other day, which i plan on making a brownie recipe out of it today, awesome! Thank you Ron Paul family.) it's about his son Rand Paul, who is creaming the guy he's running against in the Senate race in Kentucky. But i was going through some old e-mails and came across on of Rand Paul giving a speech about the Constitution, and it's just about the best explanation of how our Constitution is suppose to work, and how Washington and the establishment are shredding it practically every time they pass legislation. Like the health care bill for example is completely unconstitutional, the federal government can not force you to buy a good or service that they say. That is slavery and against everything America stands for. And to use another example, a more recent one, the scanners the government is going to make everyone go through to fly now. It gives a scan of your NAKED body, physiological warfare on the American people, if not physiological warfare it sure as hell is physiological humiliation for some people, i sure as hell don't want some stranger looking at my naked image just so i can exercise my right to travel, and yes traveling is a right not a privilege. It also gives off huge radiation! So not only is the government looking at your naked body, but they're also endangering your health all at the same time! If the government forcing you to have some stranger look at an image of your naked body just to travel isn't a violation of your 4th amendment right, i don't know what is. Just because some guy started a fire on a plane, and that whole incident smells fishy to me, just like 9/11 too many unanswered questions, but just because some guy tried to set a plane on fire does not mean we have to change our whole way of life, and especially give up more of our freedoms.

Well anyhow, here is his speech, and i'm going to bed now, Happy New Year!
